Established in 1974, Jormet has grown from a small machine shop into an efficient and competent medium-size engineering works. Thanks to a secure delivery chain and our long expertise in the field, customers can avail of our round-the-clock, continuous and reliable job performance, which results in the creation of medium-heavy serially produced items as well as high-quality steel structures.
Jormet’s services also include the performance of 3D measurements, which fulfil the precision measurement requirements of challenging large machined items that cannot be met with traditional measuring techniques. We use the largest portal-type measuring machine in the Nordic countries; it is operated in standardised conditions inside a measuring machine room. Measuring enables us to determine the correct diameter, shape and location for holes, the planarity and verticality of surfaces as well as appropriate forms for moulds and moulding models. Measurement results are presented to an accuracy of parts per thousand.
